From the Holy Qur’an:

“And let not hatred of a people… incite you to transgress. …And let not hatred of a people incite you not to act equitably. … Be just; that is nearer to observance of duty.” (5:2, 8)

“Say: O My servants who have been prodigal regarding their souls, despair not of the mercy of Allah; surely Allah forgives sins altogether. He is indeed the Forgiving, the Merciful. And turn to your Lord and submit to Him before chastisement comes to you, then you will not be helped.” (39:53, 54)

“Lest a soul should say: O woe is me, that I fell short of my duty to Allah! and surely I was of those who laughed to scorn; Or it should say: Had Allah guided me, I should have been dutiful; Or it should say, when it sees the chastisement: Had I another chance I should be a doer of good.” (39: 56-58)

“When the end comes, the hammer will still be ringing.” I first heard these words from Minister Philbert Omar in 1956. He told me that he heard them from the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. He said the reference to “the hammer” was symbolic of construction that would continue in America right up to her end. He also said, “They will be building as if they were going to live here a thousand years or more.” A few years later, I heard these same words from the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. There was more said and others heard the same.

His words were not a prophecy. Allah raised him to teach us, not to prophesy. That he did, for 40 years after his Teacher, Master Fard Muhammad, departed.

This September, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan will have taught us, absent his teacher’s physical presence, for 28 years. Since he last heard his teacher’s physical voice, which was in his more-than-a-vision-experience on September 17, 1985, he will have taught us 20 years.

Furthermore, Minister Farrakhan has demonstrated that every significant thing he has done since 1985 came from that experience.

Teachers teach students. Good teachers can only produce good students. Good teachers have bad students, but they do not produce them. Other factors are involved in the production of bad students of good teachers.

Bad teachers have students. Bad teachers produce bad students. Bad teachers cannot produce good students. Other factors are involved in the production of good students of bad teachers.

Minister Farrakhan has explained and demonstrated that a good leader must also be a good teacher. He is both. So is his leader and teacher, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad.

The world is filled with good and bad leaders and teachers. The condition of the world testifies that the bad teachers and leaders outnumber and out-influence the good ones.

But this condition is rapidly changing, as Minister Farrakhan has explained, because the Great Mahdi and the Messiah are working in America and throughout the Earth.

We would not know the Great Mahdi and the Messiah if Minister Farrakhan had not stood in 1977. This is easy to prove, but that is beyond the scope of this article. So I’ll just state that Minister Farrakhan is No. 3 in relation to his teacher and his teacher’s Teacher. We get to No. 1 via No. 2 and we get to No. 2 via No. 3, though No. 3 is lesser than No. 2 who is lesser than No. 1.

In 1977, Minister Farrakhan arose and stood only on the Teachings of his teacher, who wrote on page 10 of “Message To The Blackman” that, “My greatest and only desire is to bring true understanding of the word of God, His prophets and the scriptures, which the prophets were sent with, pertaining to the lost-found people (the American so-called Negroes) of God and the judgment of the world.”

In my last article, I showed that Minister Farrakhan went through a unique preparation to do his unique work. This work is also preparing him for the next phase of his work, Allah willing.

I also wrote: “We can learn a lot about the nature of prophecy from Minister Farrakhan’s life; how it’s fulfilled; the purposes it serves—both for its Author and for the lives of those for whom it’s aimed, and even for those who witness its fulfillment.”

The following excerpts from page 16 of “Message To The Blackman” is relevant to understanding Minister Farrakhan’s current efforts and understanding prophecy.

“If today a Moses was in your midst and he said, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me’ and ‘the Government of America has deceived you as to the knowledge of God and has you indirectly worshiping themselves,’ wouldn’t your reply be the same as the one given to Moses? That is right. You are asking me that. A man questioned me the other day when he said, ‘You mean to say that you talked to God face to face?’ ”

He wrote: “We are here to know whether God has visited America or whether He is yet to come.”

He wrote: “If all of these signs of His coming are exhausted, and I don’t see any end to the world, that is to show me that it could take place at any time. If there is such a thing as a judgment of the world, as you and I believe, if there are signs that will be produced before that particular destruction of the old world, how many signs do you know of today that have not been fulfilled that must now be fulfilled? If you know one sign that the Bible refers to that has not as yet taken place, point it out to me.”

These words were written over 40 years ago. Much has occurred since then. Were his words, then, inclusive of everything happening today? Yes.

He taught that Allah taught him the true interpretation and understanding of the scriptures. This included the knowledge and understanding of everything that would take place right up to the final judgment of this world, with glimpses of what will come afterwards.

Jews, a large percentage of Christians, and Muslims throughout the world agree that the Bible was tampered with. The Holy Qur’an verifies the Bible’s truths. So, how you understand the Bible profoundly affects, and is affected by, your understanding of the Holy Qur’an.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught that the Bible was so tampered with by God’s enemies that only He, or one He has taught, can understand and teach it. On some occasions, he explained that the wisdom required to correctly understand the Bible—and consequently the Holy Qur’an—is the same wisdom that was required in the creation of the universe. The Great Mahdi has that and more, that enables Him to thoroughly destroy evil’s roots and permanently establish righteousness.

It’s written in both scriptures that the full understanding of these books would not be available until the end of this world. That’s now.

Proper understanding of the scriptures, for example, would enable us to see Minister Farrakhan’s work from September 1977 to the present. Between the departure of Moses and his return, we read in the Holy Qur’an: “And Aaron indeed had said to them before: ‘O my people, you are only tried by it, and surely your Lord is the Beneficent God, so follow me and obey my order.’ ” (20:90)

Aaron told them that they were being tried by the golden calf. He worked hard to put them back on the right road. But because of the condition of their hearts, Aaron became to them an additional part of their test or trial.

It’s written in the history that many of the talented were jealous, and even envious, of Aaron. He became to them like what Moses was to them—“a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense.”

This expression, “a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense,” appears in Isaiah 8:14 and I Peter 2:8. Christian theologians and scholars claim that, symbolically speaking, this phrase refers to Jesus of 2,000 years ago.

The truth of this “rock of offense,” next issue, Allah willing.
