“Certainly a Messenger has come to you from among yourselves; grievous to him is your falling into distress, most solicitous for you, to the believers (he is) compassionate, merciful. But if they turn away, say: Allah is sufficient for me—there is no God but He. On Him do I rely, and He is the Lord of the mighty Throne. (9:128-9)

“And obey Allah and His Messenger and dispute not one with another, lest you get weak-hearted and your power depart; and be steadfast. Surely Allah is with the steadfast.” (Holy Qur’an 8:46)

“And We never sent a messenger or a prophet before thee but when he desired, the devil made a suggestion respecting his desire; but Allah annuls that which the devil casts, then does Allah establish His messages. And Allah is Knowing, Wise—That He may make what the devil casts a trial for those in whose hearts is a disease and the hard-hearted.” (Holy Qur’an 22:52-3)

If a person writes a letter, or speaks his/her thoughts, intentions, etc., to you and if you understand that person’s meaning, intent, purpose, spirit, etc., then communication has taken place. This communication enables the one receiving the information to access the mind of the giver of the communication.

Access is the possibility, opportunity or the means of approaching or entering a place, even the mind, of another.

Those of us who are followers of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan are believers in the fact that the great Mahdi (Master Fard Muhammad) taught and commissioned the Honorable Elijah Muhammad to teach and do what he did. That included the true interpretation and the understanding of the scriptures. We who are believers in this believe in the interpretation of the scriptures that He taught Minister Farrakhan’s teacher.

So if we hear or read any excerpt, part or section of the message God gave the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, which Minister Farrakhan teaches, we are dealing with information that can allow us to access the very mind of God, by His permission, on that particular subject.

We now have the mind of God through these two men and by various other means, which He (Allah) has made accessible to us on the subject of the full range of truth.

Now, if we persist in saying we don’t understand; persist in misunderstanding; refuse to obey or comply, or if we misrepresent the truth to others; make it hard for others to get the truth and thereby confuse others—that’s not God’s fault. That’s not the fault of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, that’s not the fault of Minister Farrakhan.

There’s something I wish to state of the identity of Minister Farrakhan, in this column, which by now every one of us should already know, understand and rejoice over. But if we show a hard-hearted, stiff neck and a rebellious attitude that demonstrates deadly ignorance, it is hard to get us to listen and accept and thus be blessed by that understanding.

The 71st Surah, entitled “Noah,” reads: “Surely We sent Noah to his people, saying: ‘Warn thy people before there come to them a painful chastisement.’

“He said: ‘O my people, surely I am a plain warner to you: that you should serve Allah and keep your duty to Him and obey me—He will forgive you some of your sins and grant you respite to an appointed term. Surely the term of Allah, when it comes, is not postponed. Did you but know!’ ”

“He said: ‘My Lord, I have called my people night and day: but my call has only made them flee the more. And whenever I call to them that Thou mayest forgive them, they thrust their fingers in their ears and cover themselves with their garments, and persist and are big with pride.

“Then surely I have called to them aloud, then spoken to them in public and spoken to them in private, So I have said: ask forgiveness of your Lord; surely He is ever Forgiving: He will send down upon you rain, pouring in abundance, And help you with wealth and sons, and make for you gardens, and make for you rivers. What is the matter with you that you hope not for greatness from Allah?” (Holy Qur’an 71:1-13)

One night here in Phoenix, Arizona in the 1960s, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad shared with me an experience he had in the 1930s, while he was on the run from hypocrites. It fulfilled verse 7 as it appears above. He told me one person actually put his finger in their ears and said to him, “I don’t want to hear it. I don’t want to hear it. I don’t want to hear it!”

Almighty God and the Honorable Elijah Muhammad are overcoming this rebellious attitude in us through Minister Farrakhan and through other events to such an extent that even many stony-hearted people—I am referring to some Caucasians—are powerfully and positively affected by the supreme logic, consummate wisdom and magnanimous delivery of God’s truth by Minister Farrakhan, and they see that it is for their own good.

In a 1962 interview with a reporter of a NYC newspaper, in answer to a question, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad said that not one out of a thousand Caucasians had a real concern for the welfare of Black people in this country. By the time he departed in 1975, the fact that President Ford sent a representative to a dinner in tribute to him in 1974 indicated a change had developed without him compromising even one iota of his divine message.

Here we are now in 2005. Many more White people have heard God’s truth through Minister Farrakhan. Has that figure, of which his teacher risen to any extent beyond a bit more than one out of a thousand? How will this affect Blacks?

Now, my purpose for the seeming interruption of the point I’m driving at, by the article on the Mother Plane, was to say (parenthetically) that that Plane—which is overhead in the skies of America—ought to be a constant reminder of the way to see where true power really is and that the True God is really present. This Plane helps with our perspective and shows how fake (illusionary, phony, etc.) this world really is.

The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is constantly reminding us —from God’s mind—of how we ought to see and do, as we cope with these increasingly dangerous times.

“They ask thee about voluntary gifts. Say: ‘Voluntary gifts are for Allah and the Messenger. So keep your duty to Allah and set aright your differences, and obey Allah and His Messenger, if you are believers.’ ” (Holy Qur’an 8:1)

“And obey Allah and His Messenger and dispute not one with another, lest you get weak-hearted and your power depart; and be steadfast. Surely Allah is with the steadfast. (Holy Qur’an 8:46) [Emphasis mine]

If there’s anyone in America who should understand the mind of God today, it definitely should be those of us who say we are with Minister Farrakhan. Let’s listen again, and again, read the words of Minister Farrakhan with our need to understand God’s mind deeper.

More on the unequaled blessing of the accessibility of the mind of God, next issue, Allah willing.
